Sometimes, disputes among family members arise when a loved one passes away. This can cause serious tension and dissention that is disruptive to you and your family. If you’re caught up in a dispute over the contents of a will or in the administration of an estate or trust, you need smart, sound advice from an experienced probate lawyer to help reach a resolution. I will always try to resolve your case diplomatically, but if that fails, I can aggressively fight for your rights. Click here to learn more.

Without protection, a person's lifesavings can easily slip away. Nursing home costs, a lawsuit, a spendthrift son or daughter — each can lead to the loss of a large sum of money in a very short time. I help individuals, families and business owners make sound decisions about the protection of their assets. I have years of experience in the creation of trusts and the development of gifting and estate tax minimization strategies. Click here to learn more.

People of all ages need to have certain basic tools in place. Estate planning includes wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, living wills and health care powers of attorney, and coordinating property ownership and beneficiary designations with the overall plan. As an estate planning and elder law attorney, I offer additional protection for my clients. Click here to learn more.

As an attorney I am a “counselor-at-law” ... I like to emphasize the word “counselor” because I believe a good lawyer has to truly like counseling, guiding and advising clients. Moreover, I believe a good lawyer has to consider more than just the “legal issues” when providing advice since other “non-legal” issues and concerns are typically tied to the overall problem/situation. This is why when a client comes to see me, for whatever reason, I listen … then I use my knowledge and experience to guide, to advise … to counsel.
